The Engineering team
Our Engineering team plays a crucial role in building, running, and evolving our suite of products that are relied on daily by millions of people around Australia.
We take aspirational product visions and translate them into real word experiences using innovative technical solutions.
You’ll have the opportunity to use the latest technology and collaboration tools to create highly scalable and available products within an agile continuous delivery environment. The Product team
At Nine, Product Management goes beyond creating great products - it’s about shaping the future of some of Australia’s most iconic media brands.
Our product team plays a central role in delivering customer-facing experiences across Streaming (Stan, 9Now, Audio apps), Publishing (The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, The Australian Financial Review), Data, and Commercial.
We build our products locally, meaning you will have a direct hand in shaping digital experiences that reach millions of Australians every day. Our experienced team spans multiple divisions, offering exposure to a diverse range of challenges and the opportunity to grow your career across the business. The Data team
Data is at the heart of how we connect with audiences, support our clients, and drive business decisions.
Our team works with some of Australia’s largest and most diverse datasets, covering audience behaviour, content consumption, advertising performance, and financial insights. With millions of consumers engaging across our brands, the scale and variety of our data presents both exciting challenges and opportunities.
The data team brings together expertise from product management, technical data, software engineering, AI, and data science. Collaboration and knowledge-sharing across these disciplines ensures continuous learning and development.

The Cyber Security team
The Cyber Security team at Nine plays a critical role in protecting our diverse and fast-moving business.
Covering Security Operations, Engineering, Intelligence, Risk & Compliance, Architecture, Identity, and Education & Awareness, the team works across all areas of Nine to safeguard our people, platforms, and audiences.
With Nine’s broad mix of live broadcasting, publishing, streaming, and commercial operations, you’ll encounter security challenges you won’t see anywhere else. From securing remote transmission sites to managing cloud security posture. Things move fast, especially in real-time, live environments, requiring quick thinking and adaptability.

Group IT
Group IT at Nine keeps our business running, powering the critical systems and infrastructure behind everything we do.
Whether you're working in networks, infrastructure, end-user computing, service desk, cloud, or automation, your impact is far-reaching. Your work will enable millions of Australians to turn to Nine for their news, entertainment, and live events.

Technology Operations
Nine is an evolving digital business, adapting to our audiences with all of their different interests and viewing habits.
With dozens of websites and apps across publishing and streaming, there’s no shortage of opportunities to make your mark within this space.
Within Product and Technology are different areas of expertise. The Broadcast Technology team is a small, highly capable and motivated team who work together to support other internal broadcast teams and stakeholders that are dependent on the systems and services that get our productions and shows live to air. The System Engineers are responsible for the design, implementation and support of all broadcast systems and services. And the Broadcast Technical Support teams provide frontline, first and second level support for system issues including hardware, software and other technical problems.
As a female leader in Quality Engineering, Nine has empowered me to ‘turn over every stone’. What sets Nine apart is its commitment to ‘keeping it human’, valuing empathy and connection, and ensuring everyone feels seen and heard. I’m truly proud to be part of Nine’s dynamic journey.
