My time at Nine over the last 10 years has been defined by exciting periods of change, allowing me to step up and continuously progress my career in Finance. In my role, I’ve had the opportunity to dive into varied, interesting work, always guided by a leadership team that ensures we have the right development to succeed. The Finance team is an incredibly supportive group of great people who make the everyday culture a joy to be part of. Nine rewards hard work and dedication with genuine career growth, making it a fantastic place to build a long-term career.
Since starting at Nine 12 months ago, I have been struck by the sheer scale and energy of the business. As part of the People and Culture team, I partner directly with diverse business units where no two days are the same. What truly makes my time at Nine special is the leadership support for my innovation and growth. I've been given rich opportunities to stretch my expertise, from leading our Center of Excellence during the integration of a newly acquired business to pursuing aspirational development goals. Joining Nine has been one of the best decisions I have made.

Since joining in 2022, I stepped into a secondment as Team Lead in 2024 and this opportunity has allowed me to build core people management skills, lead projects, and grow as a leader of a team. Managing Nine’s reputation is key to the success of our business – our Regulatory, Public Affairs & Communications team guides both the promotion of our programs, content, stories and talent, while managing risk at a group-wide level through multiple lenses.
Working closely with our senior leaders and key media personalities, this team delivers results by ensuring our message is clear, that we are represented fairly, and that our people know what we need to know. Furthermore, they advocate for the media industry, partnering with other media organisations and working with the government to drive necessary policy reforms. The work you do helps us bring Australians together.

Our Finance team manages the business of Nine, partnering with leaders across the breadth of our teams, implementing the newest enabling systems, and working together to ensure we are operating at peak performance. Whether you are guiding the business through financial decisions, or providing the right support to ensure we can operate effectively in an ever changing landscape, you have the flexibility to progress.

Our People and Culture team works closely with the business and leaders strategically and provides operational support and guidance by keeping our people at the heart of Nine. They are in the forefront of guiding the business through the whole employee cycle and touch each and every part of the business.
We come together as a team of generalists and specialists in areas such as Business Partnering; Service Centre Excellence; Talent and Performance Development; Talent Acquisition; Employee Experience; Employer Brand and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; and Health, Safety and Wellbeing. The team is focused on ensuring they are meeting employee and business needs and having a positive impact on making Nine an employer of choice.
